Craig Falls in First Round at ITA National Indoor Championships

FLUSHING, N.Y. – University of Denver men’s tennis sophomore Henry Craig (Murrieta, Calif.) was eliminated from the main draw of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on Thursday at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

In a competitive match, Craig fell to No. 5 seeded Gonzales Austin (Vanderbilt) 3-6; 6-3; 6-3. Craig is the only Pioneer to qualify for the ITA National Indoor Championships this year and earned his spot after winning the ITA Regional Championships Oct. 16-20 in Las Vegas.
