Denver Moves to 13th at John Burns Intercollegiate

HONOLULU, Hawaii - Junior Ole Ramsnes (Stavanger, Norway) shot a one-under 71 Thursday, as the University of Denver men's golf team competed in the second round of the John A. Burns Intercollegiate at Turtle Bay Resort's Arnold Palmer Course in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ramsnes finished the day tied for 34th with a two-round total of 151 (+7).

As a team, the Pioneers ended the day in 13th, with a score of 40-over 616. No. 1 California leads the event at 10-under 566.

Junior Chun-Ji Kim (Chandler, Ariz.) shot a second-round three-over (75), placing him tied with Ramsnes in 34th. Fellow junior Oskar Arvidsson (Karna, Sweden) sits tied for 60th at 12-over (156), after carding a seven-over (79) on Thursday.

Senior Jordan Burgess (Greeley, Colo.) finished the day tied for 72nd at 15-over (159), while sophomore Andy Yang (Coquitlam, British Columbia) is tied for 84th at 22-over (166).

Cal's Joel Stalter leads all individuals with a seven-under 137.

The final round of the John Burns Intercollegiate will be held tomorrow.
