About Denver: The Pioneers come into Sunday's contest 5-6 after dropping a close one to Colorado State 85-84 on Friday at Magness Arena. The Pioneers knocked down a men's basketball Magness Arena record 17 three-pointers on Friday night. Cam Griffin is leading the way averaging 13.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists a game on 52.7 percent shooting from the field. Junior guard Nate Engesser is averaging 12.5 points a game on 60.6 percent shooting from the field in 23.7 minutes. Senior Brett Olson is averaging 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds a game and 3.5 assists. Denver was selected to finish second in The Summit League by league head coaches, SIDs and members of the media.

About Bryant: The Bulldogs come into Sunday's contest 2-5. Bryant has not played since Dec. 9 when they defeated Army 80-73 on the road. The Bulldogs are led by senior Dyami Starks who is averaging 19.6 points a game. Dan Garvin averages 6.6 points and 6.1 rebounds for Bryant. The Bulldogs were picked to finish sixth in the Northeast Conference.

The Match-up: This will be the first meeting between the schools.

Griffin Grabbing: Senior guard Cam Griffin is averaging 13.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists on the season. Griffin has scored in double figures in eight of 11 games this season. Griffin scored a career-high 21 points against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi breaking his previous career-high of 19 which he set at St. Mary's earlier this season. Griffin led the Pioneers in rebounding during the 2013-14 season averaging 5.8 rebounds a game.

Booming Brett:
Brett Olson is averaging 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists while playing 34.2 minutes a game during the 2014-15 season. Olson has a 2.5 assist to turnover ratio.

Nifty Nate: Junior guard Nate Engesser set a career high on Nov. 26 at Belmont scoring 26 points and knocking down a career high seven 3-pointers. The seven 3-pointers were the most by a Pioneer since Feb. 26, 2009 when Brian Stafford hit seven at Louisiana-Monroe. Engesser is averaging 12.5 points a game on 60.6 percent (43-of-71) shooting from the field and 52.1 percent (25-of-48) from behind the arc in 23.7 minutes of action on the season. Engesser scored 24 points on Dec. 17 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Engesser made his first start of the season on Dec. 6, 2014 at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

The Long Ranger: The Pioneers have at least one three-pointer in 266 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.
