PERRY, N.Y. - Recent University of Denver graduate and 2016 captain Jack Bobzien (Littleton, Colo.) has been named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-American, the USILA announced on Friday night.
Bobzien became the 15th Scholar All-America selection in the program's history on Friday night. The Colorado native played and started in all 16 games for the Pioneers in 2016, finishing fourth on the team in points with 41 on 22 goals and 19 helpers. Bobzien had 10 multi-point games in his senior campaign, with five 4+ point games.

About the USILA Scholar All-America Program
In 1989 the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III. The Scholar All-Americas are recognized at the annual Lacrosse All-America Banquet.
