2017 World Championship Trials
INDIANAPOLIS - University of Denver men's swimmers Kyle Robrock (Savage, Minn.) and Sid Farber (Portland, Ore.) both turned in lifetime best times on the opening day of the 2017 World Championships Trials Tuesday.
Robrock broke the 50 second barrier for the first time in his career in the 100 free, finishing in a tie for 27th with a 49.97. Farber touched 41st and qualified for the 18U Final with a 50.34 (41st overall), shaving 1.2 seconds off his lifetime best time. The Denver freshman turned in a time of 50.67 in Tuesday night's final.
With his time on Tuesday, Farber broke the 17-18 Oregon state record in the 100.
