Denver Moves Up to No. 6 in Volleyball Magazine's Mid-Major Poll

DENVER— The University of Denver women's volleyball team jumped one spot to earn the No. 6 ranking in Volleyball Magazine's Mid-Major Poll with 463 total points.

Volleyball Magazine's Mid-Major Poll includes all teams not in the "Power-Five" conferences, (ACC, SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac-12). Denver improved from last week, previously sitting at No. 7. The poll is topped by BYU who received 25 first place votes and 625 total points.

The Pioneers hold a 16-1 mark, the best start to a season since going 15-2 in 2008. They remain a perfect 10-0 at home and 5-0 in the Summit League.
DU is set for two home matches this weekend, first facing Purdue Fort Wayne (11-9) on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m., and then welcoming Western Illinois (1-18) on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. MT.

Single-game tickets for the 2018 Denver volleyball season are also on sale, and can be purchased here.
