Pioneers Draw Loyola Chicago in NCAA First Round

The winner of the first round match-up will take on No. 2 North Carolina in the second round

DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer team learned its NCAA Tournament draw on Monday, and the Pioneers will take on Loyola Chicago in the first round. The winner of the first round match-up will play No. 2 North Carolina in the second round.

Denver's first round match-up on Tuesday, April 27, will kickoff at 3 p.m. ET/1 p.m. MT, and will be played in Matthews, North Carolina. 
 
Denver completed the Summit League double with its 11th DI conference tournament championship on Saturday. The Pioneers have won three of the last four Summit League Tournament titles and will make their 12th NCAA Tournament appearance this season.
