SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver men's basketball fifth-year senior guard Tommy Bruner has been named to the 2023-24 Summit League Preseason Second Team, the league office announced from its annual media day in Sioux Falls on Tuesday.
Bruner started in all 32 contests in his first season with the Pioneers a year ago, averaging 15.9 points and 4.2 assists in a team-high 34.5 minutes per game. Following his initial campaign in the Mile High City, Bruner was named to the Summit League All-Newcomer Team and was named Honorable Mention All-Summit League. Bruner scored in double figures a team-high 27 times last season, and led the Pioneers in the points column 15 times.
