DU junior Espen Kofstad (Oslo, Norway) captured his country's national championships Aug. 17, shooting rounds of 70-71-67-71 -- 279 (9-under par) for a five-shot victory over second place Christian Aronsen (-4) and Knut Borsheim (-2). Borsheim plays for Arizona State.

The tournament was played at Vestfold Golf Club from Aug. 14-17 in Stokke, Norway.
