Kaitlin Calvery were named Summit League Peak Performers of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Tirone and Morsy helped lead the Pioneer men to a 181-119 dual win over Wyoming on Saturday afternoon in Laramie. The award for Tirone was the first of his career, while Morsy earned his sixth of the season and the 13
th of his career and Calvery received her third of the campaign and the fourth of her three-year career.
Tirone swept the sprint free races with times of 20.74 in the 50 and 46.18 in the 100. The Denver senior was also a part of two relays for the Pioneers, swimming a leg of the 400 free that took first on Saturday, and the 200 medley that finished second.
Morsy won the men's 1-meter with an NCAA Zone Cut score of 368.33. The Denver diver later took second in the 3-meter dive with a score of 309.45.
Calvery earned NCAA Zone Cuts on both events Saturday in Laramie, finishing second in the 1-meter with a 280.80 and second again in the 3-meter with a 305.78.
UP NEXT: Denver's divers will return to the water next week for the Cal Diving Invite, set to run January 16-18. The Pioneer swimmers will head to Utah on Friday at 3 p.m. MT before taking on BYU on Saturday at 11 a.m. MT.
