Denver Swimming & Diving Wins Exhibition With CU

DENVER (Jan. 29) - The University of Denver men's and women's swimming & diving teams finished the regular season with exhibition wins over the University of Colorado's club teams. The men's team won the meet 157-40, while to women won 156-57.
The Pioneers won every event except for the men's 500 freestyle, only because Denver did not have an entry in the event. Sophomore Brian Keats (Toronto, Ontario) won three races for the Pioneers - the 50m freestyle (22.64), 100m backstroke (53.31) and the 100m breaststroke (1:02.71).
Denver will spend the next week and a half preparing for the Pacific Coast Swimming Conference Championships on Feb. 10-12 in California.
