The University of Denver women's golf team will be making its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament this week when they tee it up in the 2001 NCAA Women's Golf West Regional beginning Thursday, May 9 at Stanford Golf Course in Palo Alto, Calif.

Course: Stanford Golf Course (Par 72, 6168 yards)
Location:Stanford, Calif. (Palo Alto)
Competing Schools: Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, Washington, California, Southern California, Pepperdine, Stanford, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Idaho, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC-Irvine, DENVER, BYU, Colorado State, Washington State, Campbell, Oral Roberts, Northern Arizona.
Competing Individuals (3): Erin Kerr, Colorado; Sarah Walter, Portland; Kathy Cho, Oregon.
Tee Times: The first, second and final rounds will begin at 7:30 a.m. PST from No. 1 and No. 10 tees, pairings based on seeds.
Denver tee times:
Thursday, May 9 (First Round) - 11:50 a.m. off No. 1
Friday, May 10 (Second Round) - 7:30 a.m. of No. 10
Saturday, May 11 (Final Round) - Determined by scores after second round
A total of eight (8) teams and the top two individuals not on qualifying teams will advance to NCAA Nationals to be held May 21-24 at Washington National Golf Club in Auburn, Wash. (University of Washington host)
