Pioneer Profile

  1. If you could be one superstar athlete in any sport, who would you be? Why?

Steve Yzerman, he's been my favorite hockey player since I was a little kid and I love the heart and class that he plays with.

  2. If you could be on one of the reality television shows, which one would it be? Why?

Laguna Beach; because man, the girls are hot.

  3. If you could play another collegiate sport, which one would you play? Why?

Hockey because it was my favorite sport growing up and I still love to play when I'm back home in Edmonton over winter break.

  4. If you had to say today what you will be doing five years from now, what would it be?Why?

Playing golf on some professional tour somewhere in the world because I'm one of those people who will do whatever it takes in order to not have a desk job. Either that or be a hunting guide back home.

  5. What would you name your first-born child? Why?

Mark after my Dad. And I definitely want a boy so I can do all the stuff my dad did with me when I was growing up.

  6. If you were featured on the front of a magazine, what magazine would it be? Why?

Golf Digest; for being a same-year grand slam winner.

  7. If you were stranded on a deserted island and had three things with you other than the clothes on your back, what are they? Why?

A playstation2 caust I can't live without EA's NHL, a dog because I'd go insane without company, and a sand wedge so that I could practice the stupid stuff which I'm abnormally good at that my team makes fun of me for.

  8. How would your teammates describe your style of play?

Ugly and unorthadox; I play the best after a haven't touched a club in a week or so.

  9. What was your favorite cartoon as a kid? Why?

The Flintstones; everyone said that I ran like Fred, that my feet moved fast but I didn't go anywhere.

  10. What is your favorite number? Why?

    11. It's been my number in almost every sport I've played, plus it's the number of irons I carry.
