Pioneers Win Fifth Consecutive Match

The University of Denver women's tennis team won their fifth consecutive match today with a 7-0 win over Arkansas-Little Rock in Sun Belt Conference (SBC) tennis action today in Little Rock, Ark. For the second consecutive match, the Pioneers won the doubles point and all six singles matches for the 7-0 win. No. 60 Denver improves to 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the SBC.
Yanick Dullens (Susteren, Netherlands), Suzana Maksovic (Helsingborg, Sweden), Jenny Trettin (Berlin, Germany), Barbara Kourim (Dallas, Texas), Rachel Sackmaster (Alpharetta, Ga.) and Beth Messaros (Gahanna, Ohio) were all singles winners.
Dullens and Maksovic, the nation's 40th-ranked doubles team, won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles, Trettin and Kourim rolled at No. 2 doubles and Marisa Mechem (Fredericksburg, Texas) and Sackmaster won at No. 3 doubles.
Denver will play at North Texas on March 5.
