Las Vegas - The University of Denver women's soccer team knocked off UNLV 1-0 in overtime at the UNLV Rebel Classic on Sunday in Las Vegas. The Pioneers improve to 4-1-1 and UNLV falls to 2-3-1 on the season. This win evens up the all-time series at one apiece.

Senior Lleane Grimditch (Boulder, Colo.) scored her second goal of the season in the 95th minute in overtime. Grimditch leads the Pioneers with six points and 21 shots on the season. Junior Taryn Hemmings (Greeley, Colo.) tallied her first assist of the season on the Grimditch goal.

Senior Dani Wiley (Littleton, Colo.) made two saves and posted her fourth shutout of the season and the 26th of her career.

The Pioneers will continue their road swing in Boulder against the University of Colorado on Friday, Sept. 15 at 4 p.m. The game will be televised live on Fox Sports Net.
