Box Score DENVER - Arkansas-Little Rock's Christina Veasley scored a hat trick to help the Trojans beat the University of Denver women's soccer team 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Veasley scored two goals in the first 10 minutes and took a 2-0 lead to halftime.
Freshman forward Kaitlin Bast (Centennial, Colo.) brought the Pioneers (10-5-1, 5-2-0 SBC) to within one with an assist from senior midfielder Lizzy Carlson (Honolulu, Hawaii) in the 69th minute.
Veasley sealed the victory for UALR (6-9-1, 3-4-1 SBC) in the 78th minute, heading in a ball from seven yards out.
The Pioneers remain on the road next weekend, facing Western Kentucky on Oct. 23 and Middle Tennessee on Oct. 25.
