MIAMI, Fla. - The University of Denver women's soccer was shut out 1-0 by Florida International on Friday.

The Golden Panthers (4-5-2) scored the game's only goal just 53 seconds into the contest, when Thaisa Moreno she beat DU freshman goalkeeper Maria Khan (Aurora, Colo.).

This marks the first loss of the season for the Pioneers (7-4-1, 2-1-0 SBC) and snaps DU's seven-game winning streak against FIU.

Denver remains in South Florida for a matchup against Florida Atlantic on Sunday at 10 a.m. MT.
