DENVER University of Denver women’s golf assistant coach Lindsay Hulwick has been promoted to associate head coach effective immediately, head coach Sammie Chergo announced today.
“Over the past four years, Lindsay has developed into one of the strongest assistant coaches in the country,” Chergo said. “Her passion for collegiate golf and the University of Denver has helped our program grow competitively. I look forward to working with her in her new role of associate head coach for years to come.”
Hulwick helped guide the Pioneers to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships in May, Denver’s highest-ever finish. DU also captured its sixth-consecutive Sun Belt Conference title and first NCAA Regional victory.
“I am very excited to be named to this position,” Hulwick said. “I couldn't be more pleased to be a part of the continued growth of this program, and I look forward to the future successes of the women's golf team.”
