Statement of Compliance Coaches, student-athletes, and staff at the University of Denver agree to abide by and comply with the constitution, bylaws, regulations and interpretations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) (as well as the basic ethical spirit of such rules) relating to the conduct and administration of each athletic program (including, but not limited to, the recruiting rules). If a coach becomes aware or has reasonable grounds to believe that violations of such provisions may have taken place, he/she shall promptly report the circumstances to the University's Director of Athletics and Recreation, as well as the Office of Compliance, and shall cooperate in any investigation. Each employee is expected to respect and follow the academic standards and requirements of the University in regard to the recruiting and eligibility of prospective and current student-athletes for each athletic program, and shall observe and cause all members of his/her staff to observe all University policies, rules or requirements pertaining to the conduct of intercollegiate athletics, or otherwise.
