DENVER - University of Denver women's basketball associate head coach Yvonne Hawkins, head hockey coach George Gwozdecky and men's basketball head coach Joe Scott addressed members of the media at DU's weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon in the Champions Room in Magness Arena.

Hawkins talked about the Pioneers' successful road trip to Western Kentucky and Louisiana-Monroe and how the team is using the bi-week to prepare for Florida International on Saturday. Hawkins also touched on 's Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honor and how her performance helped the Pioneers secure their first-ever win over the Hilltoppers in Bowling Green, Kentucky.Kaetlyn Murdoch

Gwozdecky talked about the Pioneers' return to the ice after a long holiday break and how the team is preparing for this weekend's series against Minnesota State. Gwozdecky also discussed the performances of Drew Shore and Jason Zucker during the World Junior Championships that helped Team USA to a bronze medal.

Scott talked about the men's basketball team's road trip to Western Kentucky and Louisiana-Monroe and about being undefeated in conference action, while also previewing the weekend match-up against Florida International.
