Women's Tennis Completes Weekend Sweep

MURFREESBORO, Tenn - The Denver women's tennis team completed a two-match weekend sweep with a 6-1 win over South Alabama today in Nashville, Tenn.

Denver improves to 6-10 with the win, while South Alabama falls to 1-8.

The Pioneers won the doubles point and earned wins from Sophia Bergner (Schechen, Germany), Elena Najera (San Diego, Calif.), Caroline Schnell (Greenwood Village, Colo.), Emma Isberg (Tyreso, Sweden) and Steffi Rath (Hochst, Austria).

Schnell, Isberg and Rath all posted convincing wins in their respective singles matches.

DU takes its two-match winning streak back home against Oklahoma State on March 31.
