DENVER - The University of Denver's 2012 George Gwozdecky Hockey Camp will hold two sessions, beginning July 16. The camps will take place at the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness located on the DU campus.

The camps are under the direction of DU varsity hockey coach George Gwozdecky. The first session will take place the week of July 16-20. The second session will begin the following week, lasting from July 23-27. The camp ranges in age levels, spanning from mite's to bantam providing an opportunity for young players to expand their hockey knowledge and skills while maintaining a high level of fun.

This year's staff consists of DU varsity hockey coaches and a roster of current and former Pioneers, including David Makowski (Wildwood, Mo.), Scott Mayfield (St. Louis, Mo.), Nick Shore (Denver, Colo.) and 2012-13 team captain Paul Phillips (Darien, Ill.).
