DENVER – University of Denver men’s lacrosse incoming freshmen Zach Miller, Dallas Bridle and Max Planning were among the top 100 freshmen ranked by Inside Lacrosse in its September recruiting issue.
A midfielder from the Hill Academy, Miller rounded out the top 10. Miller was named a 2013 Under Armour All-American and a 2013 NALI All-American. Fellow Hill Academy teammate Bridle is listed at No. 74, after completing his high school career by being named Team MVP and Lacrosse Player of the Year.
The last Pioneer to be ranked, Planning came in at No. 95, after completing his career at Gonzaga College High School and receiving First Team All-Conference WCAC honors.
"Although rankings are an educated guess at best, we are proud of these three young men for being recognized among the elite in their class,” said head coach Bill Tierney. “Zach is a unique player who will have an immediate impact on our program in many ways, both on and off the field. Dallas and Max are both amazing young men who represent their classmates and the great recruiting efforts of my assistant coaches. We feel that our overall group of freshmen is an impactful one and that there is a handful of other individual Class of 2017 Pioneers who will be heard from in the very near future."
