I moved to Binghamton, New York and worked part-time retail and part time as a server at an Oyster Bar.

Minneapolis. (Former teammates Kacie Wikierak and Nicole Haselden were bridesmaids.) He is playing hockey for the Ottawa Senators, we are currently building a home, and I am doing some volunteer work with children at our church as well as volunteering at a local yoga studio. 

Looking back, I realize how fortunate I was to be a part of such an incredible athletic and academic program. My husband and I often reminisce on our days at DU and how we wish we could go back in time and relive that point in our lives. The early morning workouts, long travel trips, and late night studying were so worth the relationships built and memories created. It was an incredible experience and I would not trade it for anything. 

Not only did DU lead me to the opportunity to meet my amazing husband as well as some wonderful life-long friends, but it prepared me to lead a life of service. I have been blessed with living in new places and meeting many new people since I have left school. Although that comes with its own challenges, it has been extremely rewarding to build on those relationships and find creative ways to make a difference in whatever setting I am currently in.
