DENVER -- The Division of Athletics and Recreation honored its endowment donors during halftime of the Pioneers' men's lacrosse game against Providence in-front of the 22^nd sellout at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on April 18.  More than 70 individuals gathered for a pregame reception in the Gotteseld Room in the Daniel L. Ritchie Center.  Associate Vice Chancellor for Sport Supervision and Internal Operations Ron Grahame, Associate Vice Chancellor for External Affairs Ryan Peck and sophomore men's swimmer Patrick Guillory addressed the donors during the pregame reception. 

"Looking back on 2013-14, I am continually overwhelmed by the generosity of our donors who helped create 20 new endowments for the Division.  This is a special day for us as our coaches and fans get to honor these great Pioneers and say thanks," Peck said. "Having the donors on the field to be recognized and saluted by a sold-out Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium crowd is just another way we like to try to show our deepest gratitude for their continued support of our student-athletes." 

This year Denver has eclipsed a record-breaking 2013-14 number of donors as current student-athletes, alumni, fans, and friends of the program have joined the movement in the Drive for 2,500 donors in 2015.  The response from Pioneer Nation continues to grow each year and drives success for the entire Division athletically, academically and socially. 

"Our student-athletes are forever grateful for all of the opportunities that the donors have provided to enhance their experience on campus," Peck added. 

All endowment donors in attendance were honored during halftime of Denver's 13-9 win over Providence.
