Sept. 21, 2015 After one day and 36 holes of play at the 2015 Ram Masters Invitational in Fort Collins, Colo., the Pioneers are tied for ninth place in the 15-team field with a score of 599 (+39). Sophomore Chris Korte and Senior Adam Ruben are leading the way for DU as each golfer has registered a two-round total of 144, tying them both for 16th place in the field of 88. "Adam and Chris played solid golf today," Denver head coach Erik Billinger said following the second round of the day. "I am happy to see their solid play during the summer months carrying over into our first event of the season. Overall, as a team, we're looking for a rebound round tomorrow to show that we have fight and heart. Tomorrow is a new day and I know we will come out firing in Round Three."
