Sept. 22, 2015 The University of Denver men's golf team completed its opening tournament of 2015-16 on Tuesday, shooting a 291 in the third and final round of the 2015 Ram Masters Invitational to finish in eighth place with a cumulative team score of 890 (+50). The Pios were led by sophomore Chris Korte, who shot a 72 on Tuesday to finish the event at +6 (216) which was good for T-12th place in the field of 88. Senior Adam Ruben, meanwhile, wrapped up a strong tournament by firing a closing round of 74 to finish at +8 (T-19th) for the event. Complete results for the #RMI2015 can be viewed by clicking HERE. Competing in his first event as a Pioneer, sophomore Michael Boylan recorded a three-round score of 227, tying him with team captain Arti Edelman for third on DU and T-57th place overall. Denver will waste no time in getting back into competitive action as the Pios are scheduled to participate in the UNM Tucker Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. later this week.
