DU Athletics to Offer Free Parking Option on Hockey Game Days

Nov. 15, 2016

In an effort to show appreciation for its tremendous fan base, the University of Denver Division of Athletics & Recreation has announced that Parking Lot 108, located northeast of the Buchtel and University Blvd. intersection, will be FREE for fans attending DU Hockey games for the remainder of the 2016-17 season on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fans are encouraged to arrive to the games early to take advantage of the free parking in Lot 108 as well as to help foster a dynamic home ice advantage at Magness Arena for the top-ranked Pioneers. This free parking option will *not* transition to other lots once Lot 108 becomes full. For a full list of lots, prices and a parking map for all DU Athletics events, click HERE.

Single-game tickets for DU Hockey are on sale, and can be purchased HERE. The Pioneers will host Miami in a National Collegiate Hockey Conference series at Magness Arena this coming Friday (7:30pm) and Saturday (7:00pm).

As part of the 2016 Care 4 Colorado Toy Drive, the first intermission of Friday's game will feature a TEDDY BEAR TOSS during which fans will be invited to throw stuffed toys onto the ice surface of Magness Arena during the FIRST INTERMISSION following a prompt from in-arena PA announcer Jimmy Luthye. The stuffed toys will then be collected and donated to local children at Boys & Girls Clubs holiday parties.
