Feb. 20, 2016 Round 2 of the 2016 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate was staged on Saturday, with the DU Pioneers recording a team score of 305 to finish the day tied for 14th place in the field of 20. Complete team scoring stats can be viewed HERE.
Sophomore Pioneer Jake Kelley (Littleton, Colo.) paced DU on the day, firing a 71 (-1) to finish the day in a tie for 15th place at +2 (146) for the tournament. Click HERE to view full individual scoring for this California-staged event.
"Today was solid for Jake as well as Arti (Edelman - 73, +1)," head coach Erik Billinger said following the completion of the round. "The team scores are all very tight right now with only a dozen shots separating us from the top five teams. If we turn in a smart and solid team round tomorrow we'll definitely put ourselves in good position to make a move up the leaderboard."
