Feb. 21, 2016 The DU Pioneers wrapped up the sixth tournament of their 2015-16 schedule on Sunday, firing a team score of 309 to finish the event in 19th place with a three-round total of 914 (+50). Complete team stats can be viewed by clicking HERE.
Sophomore Pioneer Jake Kelley (Littleton, Colo.) fired a 79 on Sunday to finish the event in a tie for 45th place, highest on the team. Complete individual stats for this tournament can be viewed HERE.
"There were some positives to take out of this tournament but, overall, we struggled this week and are obviously disappointed with the results we turned in," head coach Erik Billinger said at the conclusion of play on Sunday. "The biggest thing we need to work on moving forward is our course management as well our putting.
"It's time for us to get back down to work and practice harder than ever."
