Men Win Third Freestyle Relay of Senior Sectionals

Heidi Bradley reaches the podium twice on night three in Oregon
GRESHAM, Ore. – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs continued their strong showings with an impressive night three of the 2018 Senior Sectionals on Saturday night at Mt. Hood Community College.
Denver's men's 400 free relay quartet of freshman Cameron Auchinachie (Binghamton, N.Y.), assistant coach Kyle Robrock, sophomore Hugo Sykes (Weston, Conn.) and sophomore Sid Farber (Portland, Ore) combined for a 3:23.95 in the 400 free relay to take the top spot of the men's third freestyle relay of the weekend.
Redshirt-senior Heidi Bradley (Victoria, B.C.) turned in an impressive night three with a third place finish in the 100 back (1:02.89) and a second place finish in the 100 fly (1:00.96) a few events later. Sophomore Josie Valette (Boulder, Colo.) made an A-Final for the third-consecutive evening, finishing third in the 100 fly, 0.16 seconds behind Bradley.
Farber finished fifth in the men's 100 fly with a 55.40 and freshman Ally Yancy (Cave Creek, Ariz.) got to another final with a 14th place finish in the women's 100 breast (1:15.62).
