FULLERTON, Calif. - The University of Denver women's soccer team will cap off its second out-of-state road trip and its 2018 non-conference schedule on Sunday when the Pioneers head to Cal State Fullerton. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. MT.
Following a four-match unbeaten stretch that included a Sunday afternoon 5-0 road win at FIU on August 26, the Pioneers have dropped two-straight, but will look to get back in the win column ahead of next Friday's Summit League opener at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium.
Denver is a perfect 3-0-0 in the series history between the two programs, including a thrilling 3-2 come from behind win last season in Denver. Junior
Hannah Adler and sophomore
Meg Halvorson scored a pair of second half goals in the final 17 minutes to equalize and pull the Pioneers ahead in the match.
The Pioneers won in their last trip to Fullerton on a 110th minute penalty kick on a Friday night in August of 2014.
