DENVER – Denver Pioneers men's hockey freshman goalie Filip Larsson has been named NCHC Goalie of the Month, the NCHC announced on Thursday.
 
Larsson had a 2-0-0 record, a 0.96 goals against average and .963 save percentage through two games in December. The Detroit Red Wings prospect made 32 saves in Denver's 2-1 overtime win at North Dakota on Dec. 7, then posted 20 saves in the Pioneers' 4-1 victory at UMass Lowell on Dec. 28. Larsson is 2-0-1 with a 1.90 GAA and .940 SV% this season.
