Denver’s Women Complete Dual Weekend Sweep with Win over Mesa

The Pioneers will head to Miami next weekend for the 2019 Dual-A-Pool-Ooza
DENVER – The University of Denver women's swimming and diving program earned its second dual victory of the weekend, this time defeating Colorado Mesa 218-80 on Saturday evening at El Pomar Natatorium.
Denver's women had 12 different swimmers earn event wins on Saturday, led by three wins from Natalie Arky (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) and Josie Valette (Boulder, Colo.). In addition to Arky's two individual victories, Andi Johnston (Fort Collins, Colo.), Charlotte Simon (Saint Remy, France) and Kylie Cronin (Marblehead, Mass.) earned a pair of individual event wins as well.
The Pioneers won 15 of the 16 events on Saturday, the 14 swimming races and the 3-meter dive, which was won by Sammy Walker (Los Gatos, Calif.).

Event 4 – 100 Back – Natalie Arky – 57.54
Event 5 – 100 Breast – Charlotte Simon – 1:05.71
Event 6 – 200 Fly – Kylie Cronin – 2:04.31
Event 7 – 50 Free – Erika Remington – 24.29
Event 9 – 100 Free – Josie Valette – 52.51
Event 10 – 200 Back – Natalie Arky – 2:03.71
Event 11 – 200 Breast – McKayla Sanchez – 2:24.54
Event 12 – 500 Free – Sofia Nosack – 5:09.08
Event 13 – 100 Fly – Kylie Cronin – 55.02
