MIAMI – The University of Denver women's swimming and diving program responded from its first dual loss of the season on Friday with one of its top performances of the season, a 133-77 victory over Tulane in the second session of the 2019 Dual-A-Pool-Ooza Saturday morning at Biscayne Bay Aquatic Center.

Denver won five events overall in the meet (FIU, Tulane, Rice) and earned seven event wins in its dual against Tulane.

Junior Aysia Leckie (Georgetown, Ontario) earned three points for the Pioneers with her third place finish in 53.16 to help extend Denver's lead through the fourth event to 48-26.

Freshman Sofia Nosack (Beaverton, Ore.) continued her impressive first season with the Pioneers with her third win of the year in the 200 back, out-swimming all three teams with a 2:02.27. Arky took second in the dual with a 2:03.10 and sophomore Livi Schmid (Fairfax Station, Va.) helped Denver win the event 16-3 with her 2:04.32 to take third.
