DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs swept the 2019 Denver Relays on Saturday afternoon at El Pomar Natatorium. The meet marked the head coaching debut for former Denver and Minnesota Associate Head Coach
Alicia Hicken-Franklin.

2019 NCAA Championship qualifier
Josie Valette (Boulder, Colo.) led the women's program with four relay victories on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore
Brandi Vu (Longmont, Colo.) and junior
Aysia Leckie (Georgetown, Ontario) each posted three wins and freshman
Sofia Nosack (Beaverton, Ore.), senior
Kylie Cronin (Marblehead, Mass.), junior
Charlotte Simon (Saint Remy, France) and junior
Emily Vandenberg (Ajax, Ontario) rounded out the multiple event winners in the first meet of the season.
On the men's side, 2019 men's NCAA qualifier
Cameron Auchinachie (Binghamton, N.Y.) led the way with six event wins in the Saturday sweep. Junior
Adriel Sanes (Rosharon, Texas) and sophomore
Patrick Groters (Santa Cruz, Aruba) followed up with four wins apiece, junior
Cy Jager (Moscow, Idaho) and senior
Hugo Sykes (Weston, Conn.) contributed to three wins each and junior
Jackson Gainer (San Jose, Calif.) rounded out the multi event winners on Saturday.
