DENVER – Sophomore
Michael Corson of the No. 1 Denver Pioneers men's hockey team (8-0-0, NCHC 0-0-0-0) was named Bauer National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) Goalie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Corson posted a 16-save shutout in Denver's 4-0 win against Niagara on Nov. 2. In his first career start and second career game, the Darien, Illinois native made five saves in the first period, five saves in the second and six saves in the third. He was named First Start of the Game.
UP NEXT: Denver men's hockey presented by Centura Health will begin conference play on the road against Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 8-9.
