DENVER – The No. 1 Denver Pioneers (8-0-0, NCHC 0-0-0-0) took first in the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine weekly polls for the fourth-straight week.
The Pioneers earned 998 points and 49 first-place votes in the USCHO.com poll on a ballot submitted by 50 voters, including coaches, beat writers and sports professionals from across the country. UMass Amherst ranked 2

Denver earned 510 points and 34 first-place votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll conducted in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) with input from coaches and members of the media from each of the six Division I college hockey conferences as well as officers of the AHCA and USA Hockey. UMass Amherst ranked 2
nd in the poll with 453 points, while Minnesota State ranked 3

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) had four teams ranked in the USCHO poll: Denver (1), Minnesota Duluth (7), North Dakota (10) and Omaha (20). The NCHC had three teams ranked in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll: Denver (1), Minnesota Duluth (7) and North Dakota (10).
