DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis team swept Air Force 7-0 on Friday evening at the new Denver Tennis Park.
The Pioneers opened the night by winning doubles competition to lock up the team point.
James Davis/Matt Summers defeated Tadhg Collins/Patrick Sklenka 6-1 at No.1 and
Eric Morris/Daniel Krulig defeated Paul hendrix and Jamie Bautista 6-3 at No. 3.Â
Denver then swept a trio of singles matches to lock up the 4-0 victory over the Falcons.
Daniel Krulig defeated Tadhg Collins 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 5 spot, Del Valle defeated Paul Hendrix 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 3 position and No. 109 Ros defeated Sklenka 7-5, 6-2 at the No. 1 position.
With the match in hand Summers, Davis and
Ignatius Castelino all went on to win their matches and complete the 7-0 sweep.
Next up: Denver will return to the court on Saturday, February 9
th when the Pios travel to Nebraska.
