DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team swept New Mexico 4-0 on Friday afternoon in its first match at the new Denver Tennis Park.
The Pios secured the team doubles point after
Tatum Burger/Anna Riedmiller defeated Hsiang-Wen Huang/Yue Lin Chen 6-0 at No.2 and
Bianca Mok/
Camille Verden-Anderson defeated Ruth Copas/Danielle Quevedo 6-2 at No. 1.
Denver completed the sweep with a trio of singles victories as Reidmiller defeated Huang 6-4, 6-0 at No.3, No. 89 Mok defeated Copas 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 and Verden-Anderson defeated Chen 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6.Â
DU will return to the court tomorrow morning at 11 am MT.
