DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse team's game at Ohio State, originally scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. ET/11 a.m. MT has been canceled, head coach
Bill Tierney announced on Thursday. No make-up date is expected.
"With so many flights canceled and the size of our travel party, we just couldn't get rebooked this weekend," Tierney said. "We have final exams starting Monday, so despite every effort, a make-up date couldn't be found. This is a great rivalry and we're disappointed the game won't be played this year."
Denver's Thursday night flight to Columbus was one of over 1,300 flights canceled on Wednesday during the
#BombCyclone winter storm that swept through the Mile High City yesterday.
This season will mark the first time since 1996 that the Pioneers and Buckeyes won't meet during the regular season.

TICKET INFORMATION: Following next weekend's road trip, the Pioneers will finally return to the Mile High City for the first time since February 24 when they open BIG EAST play against Georgetown on March 30 at 11:30 a.m. MT (Altitude TV/ESPN Denver 1600).
