Women's Lacrosse Earns Team Academic Excellence Award

NEW YORK - The University of Denver women's lacrosse team earned the Big East Team Academic Excellence Award, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Denver accumulated a 3.44 overall team GPA during the 2018-19 academic year to top the six-team conference. This marks the Pioneers' first honor since 2017 when they received the same award after posting a 3.48 overall team GPA.
The winners were chosen based on the 2018-19 grade-point average of each student-athlete who appeared on an institution's roster as of the last contest of the championship segment in each conference-sponsored sport.
