The Denver Pioneers men's tennis team swept Bryant University 7-0 in its home opener on Thursday at the Denver Tennis Park.

Denver started its triumph on the doubles courts where James Davis/Matt Summers won 6-2 at #1 and Mattia Ros/Pedro Fernandez del Valle won 6-3 at #2. The Pioneers continued to win in straight sets on five of six singles courts with James Davis logging the most convincing win, a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #3. Matt Summers clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 1.

The Pioneers look ahead to a Denver Tennis Park doubleheader on Friday, Jan. 24 with matchups against Metro State at 11 a.m. MT and Weber State at 6 p.m. MT.
