Denver Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Voted Summit Favorites

The Pioneers have swept seven-straight Summit League Championships

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs were picked as preseason favorites in the Summit League in a vote by the conference's head coaches, the league office announced on Thursday.

Denver's men's and women's programs have both won seven-straight Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships. The two teams have combined to win 152 of the last 154 swimming events (men's 2020 100 IM didn't have a Denver swimmer, and men's 2019 relay DQd for leaving early) at the championships.

The Pioneers 2020-21 season was delayed until January due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
