DENVER - The No. 42 Denver Pioneers men's tennis team (12-1, 0-0) won its third straight match with a 4-0 victory against Lamar on Sunday at the Denver Tennis Park.

James Davis won 6-1 at #1, then
Mattia Ros and reigning Summit League Player of the Week Pedro Fernandez del Valle won 6-0 at #2. Denver won in straight sets at #2, #3 and #4 singles to make short order of Lamar. Summers won 6-3, 6-1 at #2, Davis won 6-2, 6-1 at #3 and Fernandez del Valle won 6-2, 6-2 at #4.Â
The Pioneers will head on the road for five matches beginning next weekend when the Crimson & Gold match up against Grand Canyon and New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
