DENVER – The Denver Pioneers hockey team presented by Centura Health has added forward Steven Jandric from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and defenseman Bo Hanson from St. Lawrence University as graduate transfer students for the 2020-21 season, the Richard and Kitzia Goodman Head Coach David Carle announced on Tuesday.

"We are excited to add Steven and Bo to the Pioneer family," Carle said. "Their experience at the college level adds value to our lineup right away and increases the depth of our program."
 
Jandric led the Nanooks with 33 points on 13 goals and 20 assists in 35 games last season, bringing his career totals to 26 goals, 54 assists and 80 points in 107 games. The 6'0" 190-pound Prince George, B.C. native scored 13 of his points on the power-play last season and contributed three game-winning goals, leading the team in both categories. He has 157 penalty minutes in his NCAA career, taking 47 in 2019-20. Prior to Fairbanks, Jandric played two seasons with the Vernon Vipers (BCHL) alongside sophomore Brett Stapley.
 
Hanson finished second in Saints scoring last season and first among defensemen with five goals and 14 assists for 19 points in 33 games. The 6'2" 205-pound Boise, Idaho native also contributed 69 shots, fourth on the team, and seven power-play points, second on the team, while taking only 26 penalty minutes. In his three-year career at St. Lawrence University, Hanson combined for 11 goals, 36 assists and 47 points in 102 games. Prior to joining the Saints, Hanson played three years for the Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL) where he played alongside junior Devin Cooley during the 2015-16 season and was
captain for the 2016-17 season.
