MIDWAY, UTAH – The University of Denver skiing team closed out its first Nordic event of the 2021 year, taking sixth after day one of the RMISA Invitational at Utah on Sunday with 100 points as a team.
Significant Stats:

Bernhard Flaschberger led the way on the men's side, scoring 29 points in his first action of the season in the 10K freestyle.

Vera Norli recorded 17 points on for the Pioneers on the women's side in the 5K freestyle.

Emma Larsson (14) and
Gracie Shanley (13) combined for 27 points on the women's side.

Borgar Norrud (14) and
Ole Marius Kirkeng (13) also competed in the 10K, combining for 27 points.
- Denver sits sixth with 100 points while Utah leads at 186.
