FARGO – The University of Denver men's basketball team dropped game two of the series with North Dakota State, 84-58 at the Scheels Center.

JaVonni Bickham were the Pioneers leading scorers with 10 points.

- DU's 58 points were the second lowest output this season.

led the way for the Bison with a game-high 17 points.

Turning Point:
A 13-4 run in the opening 5:50 from North Dakota State to set the tone for the evening.
As it Happened:
First Half:
NDSU opened fast, jumping out to a 13-4 lead by the first media timeout as the Pioneers were plagued with cold shooting to start. The Bison had their foot on the gas from there, pushing their lead to 26 by the break, leading 46-20.
Second Half:
Both teams traded baskets in the final 20 minutes in a game that was already decided, with each team scoring 38 point in the half.

Denver (1-12, 0-6 Summit League) returns home for a two-game slate with South Dakota State on Jan. 29-30. Both games can be seen on Altitude 2 and tip-off is set for 7 p.m. MT both days.
