DENVER – The University of Denver Swimming team set the tone in its first home meet of the season on Saturday, sweeping both the men's and women's relays against Wyoming at the Denver Relays. The Pioneers posted 16 total wins out of 21 events on the day in El Pomar Natatorium.
The men's side dominated against the Cowboys, cruising to a 254-140 victory, winning eight events, while the women captured seven titles on their side en route to a 232-188 win.

Diving Intrasquad
The Pioneers hosted their intrasquad meet prior to the relays. Denver competed against itself in the 3m and 1m.
Ammar Hassan winning the men's 1m (312.30 pts) and
Jon Brouillette taking it in the 3m (270.68 pts) on the men's side. In the women's dives,
Maya Belanger won the 1m championship (292.05) and
Zora Opalka finished first in the 3m championship (273.75).
Opalka and Belanger both broke the current 1m record with their scores.
