HIGHLANDS RANCH – Behind good weather for most of the day and the play of
Alyson Bean, the University of Denver women's golf team got a good start on day one of the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Friday. The Pioneers finished the day second after shooting a team score of 285 (3-under).

Significant Stats:
- East Tennessee State leads the team field at 13-under through 18 holes of play.
- The Pioneers ranked third on the par 5s, posting a 5-under score on them in the tournament.
- Hollie Muse of ETSU leads all players in the field at 7-under, posting the lowest score by a player since 2015.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Bean had it going on the day, finishing tied for second at a 4-under for the round.

Anna Krekling, fresh off her first collegiate win, wrapped up the day tied for 13th at 1-under.

Katarina Drocarova closed out her opening round tied for 19th at even par.

Clara Gestsdottir and
Anna Zanusso tied for 43rd at 2-over.

Emma Bryant, competing as an individual, tied for 10th at 2-under.

Erika Danielsson finished up tied for 19th.

Trussy Li tied for 33rd at 1-over.
